For A Cash Payment Select "Cash", and enter the amount tended.
If you Double Click the "Cash" Button, BookAccents will insert Paid Amount equal to Amount Due. |

When you select "Check", you must enter a check number.
BookAccents sets the Paid Amount to Amount Due. |

When you select any of the Credit Types, BookAccents sets the Paid Amount to Amount Due. |

You may enter an amount greater than the Amount Due for any payment type, and BookAccents calculates change for you.
Be careful that the check or credit card receipt reflect the correct Paid Amount shown to balance at the End of Day. |
