Your installation CD contains all of the Programs and Database files you will need to first launch and configure BookAccents. We do not create a new distribution CD every time we make a correction or enhancement to BookAccents, as doing so it very time consuming and prone to errors. Rater we distribute a CDs with known properties. We only change the CD when necessary to include a new of different component (other than BookAccents). If is a quick and easy task to reinstall the latest version of the "executable" program. We just email it to you, and you replace your old copy with the latest one. |
Shown below is the contents of a typical distribution CD required for the installation of BookAccents.
Files contained on the root: 
The Setup.exe file, when executed will install the executable programs, your BOOKSTORETR.MDB (transaction database) on the local computer. The Read_Me.htm will provide you the most basic information about contacting us.
Files contained in the Shared Database Files
Folder:
There are two empty database files contained in this folder. They must be manually copied either your local computer (single user) or to the Network Server (Multi-user).
Files contained in the Utilities Folder:
This folder contains a utility program as well as documentation for rebuilding your database files in case of corruption, or to reorganize them for better performance.
