As you first request a report, the report writer "Crystal Report Writer" reads the required Database(s) and produces a "Full View" of the data. This generally means that all of the data contained in the database is contained and displayed. There may be literally thousands of pages contained in that view. The report writer provides several tools allowing you to more specifically request some data (thus creating a different "View" of the data).
Many of your reports are interactive. That is you can use tools to alter the way you can view your data. For consistency, Common Form Elements that are used throughout BookAccents Report Facilities.

Generally, when your cursor turns into a Magnifying Glass, this indicated that by double clicking, the report will expand showing detail about the information beneath your cursor. |

Brings up "Printer" Dialogue Box . This causes the printing of the "current" view of the report that is displayed. |

Unless you specify otherwise with the parameters of this Dialog Box, even if a report has 1,000 pages, they will all be printed.
You can specify how many pages (range) of the report to print by using the features of the Print Dialog Box. |

Some reports require a Report Starting and Ending Date. When you click on the date arrows, BookAccents conveniently displays a calendar for you. Just double click on the date you want. |
